Yet another maintenance hike took place on the 21st of April.13 people came to Mesaria from all over the island and from abroad: Chora, Gavrio, Batsi, Aprovatou, Menites and also Canada, the U.S.A. We took the usual aranged bus to Panahrandos Monastery and started our hike following trail no 1.The weather was perfect for walking.Just some clouds and little wind.The views were beautiful. Spring was all around us.The trail was recently cleaned, so we just did some trimming.
At the end of the hike in Mesaria, Alexandros Kostis was waiting for us, in Livada farm. He took us on a tour through the farm, explaining the eco and sustainable methods they are using. He also had prepared some delicious treats.
Thank you very much to all the participants for their warm spirit and to Alexandros from Livada farm for his hospitality. We wish him all the best.
